COVID-19 Vaccination: Programme Continues In Pathein Of Ayeyawaddy Region

The Ministry of Health has been conducting the COVID-19 vaccination programme in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states for the disease prevention and control.

The programme continues in Pathein of Ayeyawaddy Region, and the Regional Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win visited vaccination sites in No. 1, No. 9 and No. 5 wards. There, the Chief Minister observed the vaccination process and held talks with those who came to get the 1st and 2nd doses of vaccines. He also gave instructions to officials regarding the vaccination programme.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention.
