COVID-19 Update: 95 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On April 6

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 95 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 13,418 patients within 24 hours. One patient has died due to the disease while 106 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,079 with 19,434 deaths and 590,464 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Italy, Turkey and the Republic of Korea, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:14 pm CEST on 6 April, there have been over 492 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.159 million deaths.
