COVID-19 Update: 9 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On June 28

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 9 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 6,115 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 4 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,577 with 19,434 deaths and 592,536 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Viet Nam according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:30 pm CEST, 28th June 2022, there have been over 542 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.32 million deaths.
