COVID-19 Update: 8 new COVID-19 cases reported on August 7

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 8 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 4,168 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 13 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 614,198 with 19,434 deaths and 592,998 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
