COVID-19 Update: 54 new COVID-19 cases reported on April 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 54 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 12,813 lab specimens within 24 hours. 143 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

As of April 9, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,278 with 19,434 deaths and 590,809 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
