COVID-19 Update: 402 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On December 3

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 402 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 19,332 patients within 24 hours. 7 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 516 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 523,748 with 19,127 deaths and 499,264 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Iran, Germany and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:57pm CET, 3 December 2021, there have been over 263 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.23 million deaths.
