COVID-19 Update: 317 New Cases Reported on March 25

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 317 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 16,042 lab specimens within 24 hours. 484 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 610,493 with 19,428 deaths and 567,322 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:15 pm CET on 25 March, there have been over 476 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.1 million deaths.
