COVID-19 Update: 213 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on December 24

The Ministry of Health reported 213 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 12,127 lab specimens within 24 hours. 6 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 250 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 529,327 with 19,248 deaths and 506,764 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
