COVID-19 Update: 19 new COVID-19 cases reported on April 23

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 19 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 8,706 lab specimens within 24 hours. 26 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. As of April 23rd, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,733 with 19,434 deaths and 591,609 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
