COVID-19 Update: 18 new COVID-19 cases reported on April 16

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 18 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 6,773 lab specimens within 24 hours. 40 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

As of April 16th, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,545 with 19,434 deaths and 591,304 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
