COVID-19 Update: 170 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on January 15

The Ministry of Health reported 192 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 11,079 lab specimens within 24 hours. 2 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 108 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 533,021 with 19,301 deaths and 511,094 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
