COVID-19 Update: 130 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on January 3

The Ministry of Health reported 130 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 9,618 lab specimens within 24 hours. 3 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 230 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 531,155 with 19,277 deaths and 508,926 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
