
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 126 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 9,708 patients within 24 hours. 1 COVID-19 positive patients has died while 103 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 532,851 with 19,299 deaths and 510,986 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Germany, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:03pm CET, 14 January 2022, there have been over 318 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.51 million deaths.
