COVID-19 Meeting: Bago Region To Complete Vaccination Programme By April End

Bago Region COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee held the meeting 6/2022 via videoconferencing.

In the meeting, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win called for efforts for acceleration of COVID-19 vaccination to complete the vaccination programme by the end of April despite the falling infection rate, 0.02 percent in the Region. He added that the vaccination programme can reduce the COVID-19 infection rate and fatality rate.

Attendees discussed the number of vaccines the Region has been receiving, ongoing vaccination programme and to complete it by the end of April, requirements and security measures at the vaccination site.
