COVID-19 Control Measures: Disease Containment and Vaccination in Sagiang Region Discussed

Sagaing Region Government held a coordination meeting for prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 on January 13th.

Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stressed the needs to accelerate the vaccination target to the designated groups.

He also discussed for systematic allocation of vaccines to the townships, storage and timely distribution, as well as making preparation for providing booster dose.

He urged all to carry out the educative awareness program for the locals to get vaccines at the designated sites. The regional ministers and officials later made discussions on daily testing of COVID-19 and infected cases, hospitalization, the use of oxygen, vaccination and security measures.
