








A Copyright Awareness Talk was held on Thursday in Taunggyi of Shan State. There, Chief Minister U Aung Aung stated that the talk was to disseminate knowledge on copyright to foster further development of innovative and highly competitive businesses in the country, enable the nation's high-value products to reach international markets, promote trade development and elevate the standard of literary and artistic creations.
He urged the attendees to apply the knowledge they gain beneficially for themselves and their organizations, and to share it with communities.
Following the Chief Minister's address, a Director from the Ministry of Commerce delivered an awareness presentation on essential copyright knowledge. It’s followed by a question-and-answer session. It is reported that the awareness talk was attended by eight representatives from each of the nine Ethnic Literature and Culture Organizations in Taunggyi.
