Coordination Meeting : Plans for successful Multi-Party General Election in Bago Region

A coordination meeting to prepare for the successful holding of the upcoming multi-party democratic general election was held in Bago Region on September 11.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win stated that the election will be held in three phases across the region, with the first phase scheduled for December 28, 2025. He emphasized the importance of public safety, candidate security, and secure polling stations.

The Regional Minister for Security Affairs, Election Commission officials, and department heads discussed election security plans, fair voting procedures, voter registration lists, and public awareness of election laws. The Chief Minister urged all departments to cooperate according to their assigned duties and prepare in advance for each stage of the election process to ensure transparency and success.
