




The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs [MoSYA] held a coordination meeting on the 4-month period of the 2022-2023 fiscal year on Tuesday in Nay Pyi Taw.
In this meeting at the Ministry, Union Minister U Min Thein Zan called on attendees to work together with their experiences and insights in the implementation of policies, forward processes and the objective and aim of the ministry.
The ministry's activities have been successful to some extent due to the united and comprehensive cooperation of all the employees. The Union Minister also called for talks on youth affairs.
Also, the Deputy Minister called on officials to systematically distribute responsibilities according to the skills of the employees and to carry out a systematic inspection to ensure that the office documents do not leak.
He also stressed that state and regional directors have to select and send talented new generation athletes in order to revive the sports sector. The Deputy Minister added that due to the increase in the budget and exchange rate, only the expenses that are really needed should be spent according to the specified account headings.
The meeting continued with explanation on matters including management and finance matters during the 4-month period of the 2022-2023 fiscal year from April to July, sports sector, management, budget expenditure, construction projects, sports competitions, youth affairs talks and plans. And, the Union Minister coordinated the matters presented.
