Coordination Meeting: MoLA UAG delivered the opening remarks

The Ministry of Legal Affairs and the National Artificial Intelligence Technology Development Project have collaborated to carry out legal awareness dissemination activities using AI technology.

The Office of the National Defense and Security Council, by its Notification Order No. 120/2025, has formed the "Supervisory Committee for Legal Awareness Dissemination Using AI Technology" and the Legal Assistant AI Model is being implemented.

A coordination meeting regarding the status of completing the input of legal knowledge information and related matters was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on December 22. At the meeting, the Union Minister and the Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo delivered opening remarks.

The Project Director of the National Artificial Intelligence Technology Development Project, Dr. Tin Phone Kyaw, and project team member U Yan Naing Soe explained and presented the data collection process for carrying out legal awareness dissemination activities using AI technology and the status of completing the training and integration of the obtained data into the Legal Assistant AI Model.

The meeting attendees discussed matters regarding widely applying AI technology in connection with legal knowledge to disseminate legal knowledge and information to the public, further improving the Legal Assistant AI Model by collecting additional data for laws that require further training and integration, and coordinating and collaborating with relevant ministries, it’s learnt.
