Coordination meeting: Meeting on organizing Diamond Jubilee Union Day held

The work coordination meeting of 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day organizing committee was held at the Ministry of Information at 2 p.m. on January 6.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of organizing committee Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Vice Chairmen Union Minister U Min Thein Zan and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing, committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint and deputy ministers from relevant ministries, senior military officials from the office of commander in chief, permanent secretaries and invited guests.

First, the organizing committee Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the ceremony commemorating the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day which will be held at the Grand Military Review Parade Square is an event to be participated by all national races and it’s important for the national unity.

So, the attendees are to report and discuss the statuses to be carried out by the relevant sector. Next, the vice chairmen union minister U Min Thein Zan and Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing gave the remark.

Then, the committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint clarified the plans to be implemented to hold the celebration successfully, plan to form the subcommittee, tasks and responsibilities and the plans to be implemented and the attendees to the meeting discussed the relevant sectors to be carried out.

In responding, the committee chairman supplemented necessaries to the discussions. Afterward, the committee chairman, vice chairman and regions and states ministers discussed the coordination regarding the floats to be showcased in the celebration.
