Coordination Meeting : Meeting to award certificates of honor and medals held

The second coordination meeting regarding the awarding of Mon State Certificates of Honor and Medals was held at the Aung San Hall of the State Government Office on January 27.

During the meeting, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein stated that honorary awards will be presented to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding and selfless dedication to national development across various sectors in Mon State. He urged all attendees to engage in collective discussion to ensure that all deserving recipients are identified and that no eligible candidates are overlooked.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee for Mon State Certificates of Honor and Medals Minister for Security and Border Affairs discussed the necessary matters.

The Secretary of the Scrutiny Committee explained the current status of preparations for awarding the certificates and medals.

Secretaries from various selection sub-committees presented the results of their sector-specific screenings for potential awardees.

Following the presentations, state ministers provided additional comments and suggestions. The Chief Minister concluded the meeting by coordinating the requirements and delivering the closing remarks.
