Coordination Meeting: Discussion on Special Economic Zones

Myanmar Special Economic Zones Central Body held its coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Chairman of the Central Body Vice President U Nyo Saw attended the meeting and made a speech, emphasizing on the development of special economic zones, including Thilawa, Kyaukphyu, and Dawei.

The Vice President stressed the importance of completing projects on time, attracting more foreign investment, and creating jobs. He also highlighted the need to link SEZs with local MSME businesses and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The meeting discussed progress, management issues, land compensation, expansion plans, and investment activities. The meeting also reviewed the status of each zone and shared updates on ongoing operations.
