Coordination meeting: Boosting agricultural products in organic system discussed

The Kachin State Government held a coordination meeting with the responsible persons for the producing organic crops by organizing the farmers, agricultural products under contract farming system to be delivered to the market and facilitate necessaries at the state government office meeting hall in the afternoon on 30th November.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan said that the union government is supporting and encouraging boosting the producing the agricultural and livestock products as the MSMEs, the loans by establishing the State economic promotion fund to boost the agricultural and livestock products for the acceleration of state economic. So, the farmers are needed to be organized to produce more products and acquire the markets for the agricultural and livestock products.

Next, U Zaw Ko Ko from Shwe Myay cultivation and trading group clarified the work plans to organize the farmers from the Myitkyina, Moe Nyin, Puta-O regions to prevail organic farming with the necessary techniques under the contract farming system and searching markets.

Then, the attendees the state level departmental officials supplemented to provide agricultural inputs, raw materials and techniques and the Chief Minister coordinated necessaries to boosting products in organic system, it’s reported.
