Cooperative Tasks: Union Minister Inspects functions of Cooperative Societies

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with officials inspected functions of Cooperative Societies of the Ministry on 25th July.
The monsoon paddy pilot cultivation being implemented by the Rainbow Cooperative Society on 2.7 acres of farmland near the office of the Minisrty was conducted and the Union Minister attended the ceremony. At the event, Union Minister U Hla Moe said that this pilot cultivation is conducted by the Rainbow Cooperative Society with the technical assistance of the Agricultural Department.
It aims to disseminate cultivation methods such as seeder, scattering and stringing system to farmers to realize the yield, cost and benefit from it.It will also arrange to irrigate with solar system not to be lack of water in the paddy field and called for the concerned officials for the success of the tasks.
The Union Minister and party then observed cultivation of GW 11 paddy strains on 2.7-acre farmland of the Rainbow Cooperative Society. The Union Minister and party later visited dairy cow farm of the Rainbow Cooperative Society and looked into breeding of Friesian milch cows and sale of milk to San Wati Breeding and Organic Fertilizer Manufacturing Cooperative Society, planting quality grasses for dairy cows and feeding of fermented corn nutrition produced by Nay Pyi Taw Cooperative Syndicate. 
The Union Minister inspected construction of new mess hall and breeding of fish and ducks and also observed the sale shop of ThetTantYaung Cooperative Society.
