Cooperation in Health Sector: MoH Union Minister met EEC Delegation

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win met with Project Manager of Russia Association for Friendship with Myanmar Mr. Ilia Nesterov and party on 25th March.

The Union Minister discussed the health care system in Myanmar, vaccination with the use of Sputnik Light vaccines, public health activities, human resource development and cooperation for development of medical sector.

They also exchanged views on registration of Russian made vaccines and medicines, cooperation in research works, production of medical equipment, conducting training for treatment of cancer, exchange program between the two medical universities, and using solar-powered electricity at the hospitals in remote areas.
