Convenience In Public Transport: Over 1200 Buses Of 67 Ybs Bus Lines To Be Run During Thingyan

During Thingyan period, over 1,200 vehicles from YBS bus lines that are more than one third of the normal run will be operated in Yangon Region, according to the Joint Secretary of Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC) U LyanCinMang.

Before Thingyan, about 2800 vehicles of 117 YBS bus lines are operating. During Thinygan period, 67 YBS bus lines with over 1200 buses will be run from 13th to 16th April for the convenience of passengers inpublic transport because it is holiday period andthe vehicles are needed to repair and maintain.

The Joint Secretaryof YRTC added that they have arranged to run the buses until 8 pm during Thingyan and they also issued the rulesand regulations to be followed by drivers for the road safety.
