Consumer Affairs: Ministry of Commerce holds Inspectors Skills Workshop

The opening ceremony of the Inspectors Skills Workshop No. (3/2022) took place at the Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Commerce.

In his address, Deputy Minister U Nyunt Aung stressed that the workshop is to improve the capabilities of employees in their work and strengthen the process of fully protecting consumer rights. For inspections and resolving consumer disputes, inspectors should pay attention to the discussions of experts from related ministries in this workshop in order to identify the goods that should be stored and the goods that should be prohibited among the unsafe goods, market monitoring and assistance.

This 5-day workshop joined by 53 inspectors from the Union Territory, states and regions is set to take place till the 25th of November.
