


Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday launched a Business English (Usage & Writing) Course. Union Minister Dr. Pwint San attended the Course opening ceremony at the Ministry and stressed that the Course was designed to improve work performance of the employees regarding the Business English so as to develop the commercial sector by making the work processes fast.
He urged the trainees to deeply focus on the Course, sharpen their skills and adhere to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. The Union Minister also instructed the concerned officials to record the trainees’ performance.
This 5-week training from the 9th of February to the 11th of March attended by 35 trainees from the Ministry of Commerce is funded by Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) which is the only multilateral partnership dedicated exclusively to assisting least developed countries (LDCs) in their use of trade as an engine for growth, sustainable development and poverty reduction.
