The Myanmar government has repatriated Myanmar nationals who were suspected of involvement in online scam and gambling activities in Cambodia.

A total of 729 Myanmar citizens have been brought back so far using Myanmar International Airlines (MAI) and military aircraft. Among them, 543 people who arrived in Myeik were transported to Yangon by the naval ship Mottama.

During the journey, authorities provided food, healthcare, and basic personal supplies. The ship arrived at Yangon Port, where officials conducted immigration checks, health screenings, and registration.

Afterward, the returnees were transferred by vehicles arranged by the Yangon Regional Government to designated gathering locations. Authorities said further verification and legal procedures will continue according to regulations.
