Coffee Industry: SAC Chairman Visited Coffee Farms In Pyin Oo Lwin

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and party on Tuesday visited Myanmar Coffee Association in PyinOo Lwin.

Officials reported on cultivation of coffee, production process, nursery garden, quality control and storage condition.

The Prime Minister urged to penetrate Myanmar coffee brand to the international market, and pledged to provide the needs for development of coffee industry. The Prime Minister and party later viewed the coffee quality testing at the lab, and production process of Mandalay Coffee Group Factory.

They later visited Coffee Farm (PwayTaung) and heard reports on implementation the farm as PyinOo Lwin Coffee Park, coffee species being planted in the farm, and plans for dissemination of coffee cultivation methods.

The Prime Minister urged to choose the quality species that can benefit the farmers, and to provide systematic guidelines to the enthusiasts in the coffee industry. The Prime Minister and party later viewed round the coffee farm.
