Coffee Industry: SAC Chairman Meets With Entrepreneurs

Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Sunday met with coffee entrepreneurs in Pyin Oo Lwin Township.
In the meeting, Union Minister U Tin Htut Oo and concerned officials reported on matters including market condition, projects, land issues and coffee strains distribution. The coffee entrepreneurs stressed importance of cooperation between the governmental officials and entrepreneurs for development of coffee industry and current market condition. Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko also reported on meetings with the coffee entrepreneurs in the region.
In his response, the Senior General stressed legal actions against those who don’t carry out proper projects on proper lands, the global coffee industry development, importance of policies and systematic plantation and importance of cooperation between the governmental officials and entrepreneurs. He urged the concerned officials to make Pyin Oo Lwin Township clean and tidy to attract foreign travelers to coffee farms too.
