Coal Extraction: Chief Minister meets coal mining entrepreneurs

Sagaing Region Government held meeting with the coal mining entrepreneurs and in-charges at the Regional Government Office on Tuesday.

At the meeting, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw said that the meeting is to discuss progress of works and the needs of entrepreneurs who are operating coal mining in Mawlaik and Kalewa townships in the region.

He said the regional government will fulfilled the needs for extraction of coals meeting the target and transporting of the extracted coals.

The Regional Minister for Natural Resources, the Commander of North-West Command and the regional departmental officials reported on plans of respective departments.

The coal mining businessmen and in-charges discussed coal extraction, transporting, plans to extract coals for meeting the target and general affairs. The Region Chief Minister fulfilled the needs on the reports of attendees.
