CMP Businesses: Inspection Sub-Committee Holds Coordination Meeting

CMP Business Inspection Sub-Committee held its 2ndcoordination meeting on Thursday.

Chairman of the Committee, Deputy Minister for Labour U Win Shein stressed to make efforts for normal operation of the industry with the tripartite cooperative efforts of the Government, employers and employees.

The CMP industries mostly create job opportunities for the grassroots people, benefiting the Myanmar workforce and citizens. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, some factories have to be shut down and lay off the workers as they faced lack of raw materials and orders and decreased incomes.

There are also opening of new factories and reoperating of the factories.

He called for cooperative efforts to overcome the challenges. He also pointed to follow the guidelines for COVID-19 preventive measures to accelerate the production capacity and worksite safety of the workers.
