Cleanliness Task :‘To Green and Clean Future’

Rakhine State Government conducted a cleanliness task in Sittwe on Sunday. Departmental staff and officials led by the Rakhine State Chief Minister collected garbage in Point Beach area of Sittwe.

In his address, the Chief Minister stressed climate change, environmental pollution and health impacts. He also called for plastic use reduction.

This cleanliness task in Sittwe of Rakhine State also included erection of a poster saying ‘To Green and Clean Future’ with such objectives as ‘Don’t Trash Our Future’, ‘Waste Less, Save More’, ‘Think Before You Throw’, ‘Trash is not Garbage’, ‘Love Food, Hate Waste’, ‘Don’t use plastic and be fantastic’, ‘If you can’t reuse it, refuse it’, ‘Be green, keep our planet clean, ‘ Recycle for a clean and green future’, ‘Don’t by drastic, say ‘no’ to plastic’ and ‘Beat plastic pollution’.
