Cleaning Activities : Cleaning activities in school surroundings

In the 2025-2026 academic year, to ensure that students can study smoothly and successfully and to maintain the good appearance of the schools, basic education schools across various regions and states are conducting cleaning and beautification activities in school surroundings.

Local military personnel, departmental staff, social organizations, and local residents are working together to carry out these cleaning tasks.

Currently, in 12 townships including Mingalardon Township in Yangon Region, local military personnel, departmental staff, social organizations, and local residents are collectively engaged in activities such as clearing thick bushes inside and outside basic education schools, removing garbage, digging drainage ditches to improve water flow, applying pesticides in ponds, spraying insecticides in mosquito breeding areas, and distributing health education leaflets.

In addition, in four townships including Kholam Township in Shan State (South), and ten townships including Dagon Myothit (South) Township in Yangon Region, local military personnel, departmental staff, social organizations, and local residents have cooperated to clear bushes and weeds, remove garbage, dig drainage canals to improve water flow, apply pesticides in ponds, and spray insecticides in mosquito breeding areas at major monasteries, pagodas and stupas, monastic buildings, public hospitals, and various designated locations.

It has been reported that responsible officials from the relevant regional military commands visited to observe and encourage these activities and coordinated necessary actions as needed.
