Clarification Event: Briefing on Myit Sone-Myit Nyar Hydropower Project

Briefing on implementing Ayeyawaddy Myit Sone-Myit Nyar Hydropower Project took place in Mohnyin Township on May 7th. Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan attended the event and stated the vital role of electricity, calling for cooperation of all citizen for systamatic energy utilization for nation’s development.

The attendees made presentations on hydropower related technologies, geography findings, development and future prospects of developed countries where increased hydropower and dam projects around the world. The Chief Minister and officials answered the questions raised by the locals.
