Citizenship Scrutinizing: NRC Cards And Household Lists Issued In Dawei

The Ministry of Immigration and Population is carrying out the Pan Khin Project for issuance of National Registration Cards (NRC) and household lists to the citizens. On January 13th, the NRC cards and household lists were issued to the residents in four townships of Dawei District in Taninthayi Region.

Union Minister U Khin Yi attended the ceremony and expressed that the project can only be achieved with the cooperation of the related departments and people. Every citizen must hold the NRC card since it is essential for the social life of every individual.

He urged those who does not have any NRC Card to inform to the concerned ward and village administrators and townselder for the issuing process of it. During the ceremony, around 600 household lists and over 2,900 NRC cards were issued to the residents in Dawei, LaungLone, ThayetChaung and YayPhyu Townships of Dawei District.
