Subsequently, the Union Minister toured the township office, made inspection, instructed the officials to strive diligently to ensure the security of documents and equipment, and to complete the immediate priority tasks related to the department for successfully holding the election within the prescribed timeframe.
He also coordinated and fulfilled the necessary requirements based on the reports presented. Following this, the Union Minister toured and inspected the work being carried out at the temporary offices for Yambye and Pauktaw townships in order to conveniently issue Household Lists and Citizenship Scrutiny Cards to those who were temporarily displaced due to the violent incidents in Rakhine State.
This work is being carried out under the Pankhin Project Phase 3 and involves the issuance of Unique ID numbers through the e-ID system.
