Chris Rock back on stage, 'processing' Oscar slap

Comedian Chris Rock returned to the stage Wednesday for the first time since being slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars, receiving rapturous applause from a Boston audience.Fans emerging from the soldout show were effusive in their praise over how Rock handled the confrontation with Smith and his public poise afterwards.

And, yeah, he just ... he came out and he said, I'm still processing, like, kind of what happened, but let's go on with the show and, like, he was great. He's always great."

Smith slapped Rock onstage at the Oscars over a joke the comedian made about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's buzzed haircut.Pinkett Smith has spoken publicly about her diagnosis of alopecia, which can cause baldness.Smith has publicly apologized.
