Chinese-ROK FMs to promote strategic cooperative partnership

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin on the sidelines of the trilateral foreign ministers’ meeting between China, Japan and the South Korea in Busan on Saturday. Wang said China is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Republic of Korea (ROK) and promote the China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership.

The ROK is willing to strengthen dialogue and communication with China at all levels, deepen economic and trade cooperation, maintain the stability of the supply chain, promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges and push forward the strategic partnership between the two countries, Park said. The two sides also exchanged views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
