Chinese mainland reports 67 new coronavirus cases, all imported infections

Chinese health authority said on Thursday that it received reports of 67 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, and all of them were imported ones, bringing the total number of imported cases to 541. According to the National Health Commission, six new deaths were reported on the Chinese mainland, and there were 58 new suspected cases on Wednesday, with all cases being imported from overseas.

The accumulative confirmed cases on the mainland was 81,285, and a total of 695,305 close contacts had been traced, of whom 14,714 were still under medical observation. No new suspected case was reported in Hubei on Wednesday, and no suspected case was in existence currently in the province. By the end of Wednesday, a total of 675 confirmed cases had been reported in China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Specifically, 410 cases were reported in Hong Kong, 30 in Macao and 235  in Taiwan.
