Chinese mainland reports 54 new imported COVID-19 cases

China on Friday reported 54 new COVID-19 cases, all imported, on March 27, according to the National Health Commission. The number of imported cases had added up to 649. The number of new deaths was 3 (all in Hubei) and the number of new suspected cases was 29. The number of cases newly discharged from hospital was 383 and the number of people released from medical observation was 758.

The number of serious cases was reduced by 113. As of the end of March 27, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan reported 819 confirmed cases, with 518 in Hong Kong (111 discharged from hospital and 4 deaths), 34 in Macao (10 discharged from hospital) and 267 in Taiwan (30 discharged from hospital and 2 deaths).
