






The opening ceremony of the Chinese language speaking courses HSK-1 and HSK-3, organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and Culture, was held Tuesday morning at the Jade Hall of Office No. (33), of the ministry. Union Minister U Maung Myint attended the ceremony and delivered the opening speech.
In his opening speech, the Union Minister stated that the ministry has been continuously implementing language training courses for the development of human resources in the tourism sector. He noted that this was the third time the Chinese language course had been opened and that the courses would be effectively taught through both online and in-person systems. He also said that, unlike previous courses, members of the Tourist Police force would also attend this training. The Union Minister expressed special thanks to Fuzhien International Language School for helping make the training possible and encouraged the school to continue cooperating with the ministry to open more courses in the future.
Afterward, Dr. Setti, Honorary Principal of Fuzhien International Language School, explained the objectives of opening the courses, the current implementation status of the training programs, and future plans for continuing the courses.
According to reports, the newly opened Chinese language courses include 73 trainees for the HSK-1 course, including 5 members of the Tourist Police force, and 22 trainees for the HSK-3 course, making a total of 95 trainees. The courses will be conducted over a period of eight weeks.
