Chinese EVs take center stage at IAA Transportation in Hannover

Chinese electric commercial vehicles and trucks took center stage during China Day at the IAA Transportation 2026 trade fair in Hannover of Germany, showcasing major expansions into the European market.

Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles presented its European-version pure electric heavy tractor Homtruck, alongside the Super VAN, which holds a Euro NCAP five-star safety rating. Delivan debuted as a new European-focused van brand from Chery, showing two production electric vans and four specialist conversion models ahead of a phased 2027 market entry.

Prominent showcases also included vehicles and technologies from Foton, Sinotruk, SuperPanther, Dongfeng, Farizon, and Wisdom Motor.
