



China's President Xi Jinping and his wife visited the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his wife.
The two leaders and their spouses viewed major historical artifacts, including the Statue of Ramses II, ancient stone carvings, and inscribed pillars along the Grand Staircase. The delegation entered the Tutankhamun exhibition hall to view iconic treasures such as the Pharaoh's golden mask, royal throne, and chariots.
They also visited the museum’s observation deck for a scenic look over the neighboring Pyramids of Giza. President Xi emphasized that as two ancient civilizations, China and Egypt should deepen people-to-people exchanges and support mutual learning between cultures under the Global Civilization Initiative. President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to boosting bilateral cultural ties and diplomatic partnership with Beijing.
