China's Hong Kong, Uzbekistan to deepen economic, business ties

China's Hong Kong Executive Chief John Lee led a business delegation on a visit to Uzbekistan from June 3 to 5, meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the visit, the two sides have significantly deepened their business ties, signing 35 cooperative agreements in AI, digital technology, finance, and logistics. The two regions established mutual 30-day visa-free travel while Uzbekistan agreed to open a Consulate General in Hong Kong.
