China VR expo unveils cutting-edge products

Latest achievements in virtual reality (VR) technologies were showcased at 2023 World Conference on VR Industry in Nanchang, China between Thursday and Friday. The event attracted more than 200 enterprises to present cutting-edge innovations.
One of the most eye-catching exhibits was an interactive holographic projection system, which is developed by Chinese tech giant Huawei. The system creates and displays a digital avatar, which can move almost simultaneously after its user.
Another exhibitor which garnered much attention was Chinese tech firm ScentRealm, which focuses on digital scent technology research and development. Since its first edition in 2018, the conference has been held annually in Nanchang. During the past five editions of the conference, contracts on 562 projects were signed with a total amount of about 46.05 billion USD.
