China-Singapore military exercise

The Chinese and Singaporean military troops conducted a series of mixed-group exercises to further improve their urban counter-terrorism capabilities and deepen military exchanges.

The exercises were part of the China-Singapore "Cooperation-2023" joint army training which opened on Wednesday in Singapore. The skill training was carried out in an unrealistic scenario that the terrorists were hiding in a building.

The two militaries cooperated closely to complete various tasks including creeping forward, breaking into the building, searching and shooting. During the live fire training, the participants had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the improvement of shooting stability and hit rate.

In addition, the troops also conducted training in physical fitness, hand-to-hand combat and some other subjects.
