China to send experts to Shangri-La Dialogueforum in Singapore

Singapore is hosting the 23rd Shangri-La Dialogue from May 29 to 31, gathering 54 ministerial-level delegates and security chiefs from over 40 countries. The summit focuses on US-China relations and the geopolitical impact of the Middle East conflict.

Focus areas also include evolving security partnerships in a fragmenting world, maintaining Indo-Pacific stability, and managing global defense outlays amid rising tensions. China announced on Thursday that a delegation of experts and scholars from its military institutionsto attend the Dialogue, skipping the summit's ministerial meetings for the second consecutive year.
