China marks 4th National Ecology Day with main event in Inner Mongolia

China marked its 4th National Ecology Day on Saturday, hosting its main event in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Centered on the theme "Building a green foundation for Chinese modernization," the event highlighted national green transitions, grassroots conservation stories, and the rollout of new ecological protection policies. The event also coincided with the implementation of China's landmark Ecological and Environmental Code.
